You will receive a sequence of shapes or figures and will need to determine which figure comes next in the series out of six different options. To do well on this test, you will need to determine the underlying pattern of the sequence. This pattern will relate to the various aspects of the shapes, such as colour, number, rotation, or symmetry.
Wingfinder Deep-Dive Personality Test
Red Bull also requires candidates to take their Wingfinder personality test. This test assesses your work style and personality and will give you a profile at the end that details your strengths and weaknesses and how to apply those in your work style. The key strengths that the test focuses on are:

- Thinking: How you use logical reasoning to solve problems
- Connections: How you manage relationships with others and yourself
- Drive: Your motivation, ambition, and discipline
Image-Based Questions
The first section of the test is an image-based exam. The test will provide statements or questions, and you will need to select an image that best describes your answer. For example, the test may present a situation and ask you which image best represents how you would feel or respond in that situation.
Timed Sorting
The second section of the test is a timed sorting game. Here you will need to classify words and images while making as few mistakes as possible. The categories will be a mixture of pleasant, unpleasant, collaborative, and independent.
Abstract Reasoning
The third section of the test is the abstract reasoning portion. This section is similar to the Matrigma test in that you will need to identify patterns and select the following figure in the sequence. This test is also timed and will be multiple choice.

Phone Interview
If you do well on the online assessments, you will have the chance to participate in an initial phone or Skype interview. This interview will be mainly competency-based and require you to give detailed examples of past experiences and related skills. Assessment Centre
The final stage of the recruitment process is the Red Bull Assessment Centre. The assessment centre consists of different group and individual activities during an all-day event. The invited candidates will meet up the night before to get to know each other before the assessments start.
- Case Study Exercise – For this exercise, the hiring team will provide you will some information about a business plan, and you will need to analyze the points and come up with a solution. You will either work independently or with a group of other candidates to complete this exercise. Once you have come up with your ideas, you will need to present these to the hiring team.
- Presentation – You will give the presentation to at least two assessors looking at your communication skills, confidence, and lateral thinking ability here. - Group Activity – In this activity, candidates will be split into groups and given various tasks to work on together to complete. These activities can be anything from building something together to coming up with a solution to a business-related problem. - Final Interview – The last portion of the assessment centre will be the final interview. This interview will consist of questions about your ability to do the job and your motivations. The hiring team wants to make sure that you have done your research about the company and would be a good fit for the team.
