What Is EE Hiring Process?
Online Application
EE requires any interested or potential candidates to submit their application through the online portal located on their website. The application asks job seekers to provide recent work history and experiences, along with any contact information they would need to move forward in the recruiting process.
EE’s Online Assessments
There are several psychometric assessments that EE uses to determine a candidate’s compatibility for the job they’re applying for. These will directly relate to the needs of the role in question
- Numerical Reasoning Test – This test has questions about the information presented in the graphs and charts provided. You’ll be asked to analyze the data and use it to inform your answer. The test is used to determine your numerical and mathematical aptitude in interpreting graphs and data. Since the assessment has a strict time limit, one should be sure to practice adequately beforehand.
- Verbal Reasoning Test – The verbal assessment presents bodies of text to read through before answering related questions. These questions will give you true, false, or cannot tell to choose from in order to fully determine your analytical and language comprehension abilities. Being able to read and process the information and answer the questions accurately will be tricky if you’re going in unprepared. Get plenty of practice in ahead of time by using mock tests when possible.
- Situational Judgement Test – This exam presents you with difficult scenarios that require you to think carefully on how you would respond to the presented scenario. You’ll be evaluated on your problem-solving capabilities and reasoning.
Video Interview
After candidates EE’s initial assessments, you’ll be invited to participate in a Video Interview. This will be a formal interview dedicated to understanding more about your work history, experiences, and qualifications. It’s a good time to ask any additional questions you have for your recruiter regarding the job or the hiring process. After this screening, candidates are asked to complete EE’s final pre-employment stage in their Assessment Centre.
EE’s Assessment Centre
EE’s Assessment Centre gives additional testing and interviews to candidates in the final rounds of the recruitment process. Although the specifics will change depending on the role, the general structure will be similar across the board.
- Group Exercise – You’ll be given a task to complete with other candidates involving a problem relating to the business. You must work with your team to provide solutions
- Role Play – This exercise is modelled after a scenario that you’ll likely come across in the job. You’ll be evaluated on how you handle the scenario and whether or not you embody EE’s values while doing so.
How to Prepare for EE Assessment?
The best preparation for EE’s hiring assessments is to practise ahead of time with adequate practice assessments. These assessments will not only mimic what the real assessments will be like, but they will provide you with feedback and tips for improving your scores as you go along.
