What Is Bryq?

Bryq is an AI-assisted assessment platform that helps companies learn more about potential hires and helps current staff members learn about their potential. The test utilizes I-O psychology and AI technology to help identify the best potential hire for a company. What Is the Assessment About?

There are two versions of the Bryq Assessment: the 20-minute standard version exam and the 45-minute extended version exam. The test version given is up to the potential employer. The test is designed for people who have a secondary educational level or higher.

 

Cognitive Section Specifics

The cognitive section is testing your ability to read and analyze written passages. The sub-skills tested in the cognitive section are comprehension, logical reasoning, and numerical reasoning. The goal of this section of the online test is to ensure that potential candidates can demonstrate essential reading comprehension skills that are essential to the workplace. Questions are a paragraph or paragraphs with a question such as one’s conclusions after reading a passage, analyzing the language used, and more that helps to show your ability to read critically and analyze information.

The second part of the cognitive section is logical reasoning. This is an essential trait for future employees, to be decisive and forward-thinking. Personality Section Specifics

The concluding section of the assessment is the personality test section. This section is simply to get to know you and to ensure that the company can find the type of person that they are looking for. The traits that might be uncovered in this assessment include an individual’s tendency towards introverted/extroverted, conscientiousness, loyalty, and agreeableness. The use of personality tests to identify a candidate’s personality traits is a common tool to ensure that the employee will be a good fit for a company. How to Prepare for the Bryq Assessment?

There is a time limit on the cognitive section, with a good score constituting 50% or higher. You will need a pen, paper, and calculator with you for the exam, as well as a laptop with a working camera as it is online. The camera will be used intermittently to ensure that the candidate is being honest when answering these questions, and the clips that are recorded are only used to ensure the integrity of the testing process. Furthering this goal, there is no way to pause the test, to ensure that the test shows your ability to complete the tasks at hand at the same time. Of course, if there are technical issues, that is a different story and measures have been taken to ensure that you can “GET STARTED” again if there are any errors.

Furthermore, there is no pass/fail on this test, as this is an assessment that simply shows your potential employer the skills they are looking for in this specific role. The test results will also remain valid for six months and ensure that you can show your skills as you continue to grow.

The assessment also generates a Bryq type that helps potential employers get to know their candidates better. Based on a theory first proposed by John Holland in 1959, everyone can be classified through their interests and work environment into six types: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional. An individual’s combination of these six types can create up to fifteen different Bryq profiles.
